Digests
By default, you will receive a weekly digest of all posts each Sunday and the digest will show just post titles. You can change the frequency and contents of your digest:
- Log in to the site
- Click/tap the ‘head and shoulders’ icon at the top right of any page and choose ‘User Control Panel’. You will then see a ‘Digests’ tab in the UCP page.
- Click/tap ‘Digests’ to see the available options.
Email notifications
To receive an automatic notification of new topics in any forum, enter the forum and look for a ‘Subscribe forum’ link at the top of the page. The link will have a checked box next to it suggesting you are subscribed – that’s not right, it means you are unsubscribed. Click/tap the link to see notifications of new topics. If you see a link to ‘Unsubscribe forum’ you are already subscribed.
Similarly, to receive automatic notification of new posts to any topic, click/tap the ‘Subscribe topic’ link at the top of a topic page.
Regardless of how you subscribe, you will receive just one notification between visits to the site - as explained in each email. Any time you visit the site will restart your notifications.
Topic and post highlighting
Whenever you visit the site, it will highlight forums and topics you haven’t read in orange, so you can always catch up on what you’ve missed.
I don't get digests or notifications
You won't get notifications of posts you have added.
Otherwise, there's a good chance you'll find them in your Spam or Junk folder. If you do, please look for a 'Not spam' link, using it will let your email provider know you want to receive them. Please also add admin@u3awpdev.org.uk to your address book which might also prevent our messages going to spam.
